FF V Pro Classic
FF V Pro Classic is an innovative and high-tech roller ski for those who want to become a better skier. V Pro Classic is our flagship model, but is equally suitable for both professionals and beginners because it recreates the right technique and that good skiing feeling you get on real cross-country skis.
FF V Pro Classic is packed with a number of technological innovations and patented technology that actually works, no gimmicks:
Patented and unique V-track wheel
Our innovative V-track wheel has a profile that mimics cross-country skiing. This ensures that you get superior directional stability and a more ski-like feeling and technique. The unique profile and the rounded corners mean that you also get a much better diagonal stride and also allow higher speeds in sharp turns, which gives you more confidence.
The profile of the wheels, combined with damping, means that we can use a different rubber compound that can withstand heat and wear better than traditional roller ski wheels. With reduced heat generation and increased durability, the wheels last much longer than normal.
Superb damping with Floating Fork technology
Our flagship FF V Pro Classic models are all delivered with our Floating Fork technology, where the skis are fully damped thanks to the fact that there is no metallic connection between the fork and the ski itself. Advanced vulcanization technology ensures a durable and cushioning connection that lasts, and gives you natural flexibility, stride and kick. FF technology also makes the skis more gentle on the legs, muscles and joints thanks to the greatly reduced vibration and shaking.
All FF skis are developed and manufactured in Norway
We use only the best materials and the most precise production methods we could find in thsi country.
Hyldal aluminum is the cleanest on the market, and only this is good enough if you want to make the world’s best roller skis. The aluminum is then sent to Telloks for anodising which gives the skis extra good durability and durability. The skis are then CNC-machined at Cycle Start and with high precision to ensure the best possible quality. The dampiong system of vulcanized rubber is supplied by either Rub-Tech or Rubberstyle depending on the model. Finally, all these parts from all over Norway are assembled by M-tek in Horten. The FF skis are developed by skiers for skiers, and our focus is to give you the most accurate ski feeling while you can develop your technique, even when it is not winter and snow.
Rolling resistance
FF is the only supplier in Norway with a proper rolling resistance meter. With this machine we can test and develop, and not least guarantee that all our wheels have the correct rolling resistance.
FF is proud to be the official FIS partner and supplier

Ulf B Kleppe (Head Coach Edmonton Nordic Ski CLub) –
The best rollerskis, BY FAR, that I have ever used! And I have used just about every brand under the sun, including Edsbyn, SwedeSki, MARWE, ProSki, SWIX, SweNor, and some 5 wheeled skis from about 40 years go! They were all good and the industry standard at the time, but FF V Pro Classics are head and shoulders above!
When you step into the bindings you recognize immediately that they are stable and simply easy to ski on. When you start moving you know that you can confidently diagonal stride without the constant micro-adjusting of your balance. The skis go exactly where you point them and they don’t deviate. Double poling and kick double pole is like on snow! But what surprised me the most was how stable they are on the downhills, especially the turns and when changing direction. I didn’t experience the “drifting” of (specifically) the back wheel which I had come to anticipate (and expect even) when cornering. And given my age (I suppose) I am more cautious on downhills these days, but with FF”s I am confidently going down hills 5-10 kph faster than with “conventional ” rollerskis.
I knew after just a few strides that these do a much better job of allowing me to train more effectively on rollerskis. I have never shied away from rollerski training but now I train with newfound enthusiasm and, not least, confidence. As a Masters skier I rollerski 3-4 times per week with one session at 55-70 km. Most sessions are classic. But it is as Head Coach of Edmonton Nordic Ski Club that I see the potential of the FF Classics. We rollerski extensively during the offseason and even teach beginners (mostly adults) how to ski on rollerskis. The FF’s make such a difference to the confidence and feel of skiing that we have sold off our fleet of 15 skis (That we rent out) and have replaced them with the FF V Pro Classics. In addition, more than 30 club members have purchased their own!!
In a nutshell, these skis are directionally stable (they go where you want them to), they are very easy to diagonal stride on, double poling is like on snow, they are easy to handle and they corner exceptionally well. In other words, and foremost on the mind of this coach, they are predictable and very safe, for beginners to international elite skiers and everyone in between!
