About FF Rollerskis – Norwegian Innovation in Roller Skis
FF Rollerskis AS is a Norwegian manufacturer of premium aluminium rollerskis. Our patented technology includes V-Track wheels, Floating Fork damping, and integrated brakes. We are the only FIS-approved rollerski supplier in the world. We serve elite athletes, clubs, and recreational skiers with high-performance, ski-like equipment — designed, tested, and produced in Norway.
It All Started with an Old Pair of Skis
In 2012, Henrik Georg Lindhagen was staying at a cabin in Gaustablikk, Norway. He found an old pair of Atomic skating skis leaning against the wall. He strapped them on. Within minutes, he remembered why he loved skiing — the rhythm, the movement, the freedom.
That passion followed him down from the mountains and onto the pavement. But something was missing. Roller skis did not deliver the same experience as skiing on snow. The search for a solution became the start of FF Rollerskis.
The Problem That Sparked an Idea
Henrik started training with high-end carbon roller skis. After every session, he noticed increasing knee pain. The vibration from asphalt transferred directly into his body. Roller skis were too stiff. They lacked the flex and natural movement of snow skis. That was the moment he realised roller skiing needed better design to be a serious training tool.
Creating What Didn’t Exist
He looked for roller skis with real flex and comfort. They did not exist. So he built them. After years of testing with engineers and top athletes, the team created Floating Fork — a patented damping system that reduces vibration, increases control, and lets you ski longer and harder with less strain on your body.

From Passion to Innovation
The transition from snow to asphalt revealed a clear gap. Even on high-quality carbon roller skis, several problems appeared: uncomfortable knee strain, excessive vibration from the road surface, a lack of natural shock absorption, and none of the flexibility that snow skis provide.
Our breakthrough was Floating Fork — an innovative suspension system that reduces road vibration, improves stability, increases comfort, and delivers a natural skiing experience on asphalt. This is backed by years of real-world testing, patents, and feedback from World Cup-level athletes.
