The Problem I Had to Solve
I watched juniors trying to learn the diagonal stride on asphalt. It was painful to watch. Conventional roller skis are stiff rails. When a lightweight skier kicks, the front wheel bounces off the ground. They lose contact. They lose confidence. I refused to accept that we were teaching kids bad habits just because the equipment couldn’t keep up.
Iโve always been obsessed with the snow-feel. We solved stability with our V-Track wheels, but I needed to solve the vertical movement. The goal was simple but difficult: create a ski that floats over bumps and keeps the front wheel glued to the tarmac during the kick, just like a ski tip on snow.

We took a different approach for the Junior model. We utilized our lightweight Skate frame (525mm) but engineered it with the full capacity of our Classic 360 Flow system.
- The 360 Flow System: A floating fork with a circular dampener. It absorbs vibrations and ensures the front wheel maintains ground contact during the kick.
- Pro-Level Dampening: We did not soften the dampening for this model. It uses the exact same dampening profile as our adult Classic skis. This gives juniors a firm, responsive kick that mimics snow.
- Agile Geometry: By using the 525mm skate frame chassis, the ski is easier for smaller skiers to control, yet it fully complies with the engineering required for a 530mm functional feel.
- V-Track Stability: Our patented grooved wheel profile ensures the ski tracks straight, preventing the “wobbly ankles” distinct to standard flat wheels.
