How it works
FF PoleControl is a simple, adjustable system that connects your forearm to the pole:
- Clip-on below the grip — A clip attaches directly below the pole grip. No tools, no modification to the pole.
- Elastic band to the wrist — An elastic strap runs from the clip to a loop around your wrist.
- Automatic return — As you extend the pole outward, the elastic stretches. When you release, it guides the pole smoothly and precisely back to your hand — ready for the next push.

Why Henrik created this
As an inventor, I’ve always been obsessed with the “feel” of skiing. While solving stability problems on the ground with our V-Track roller skis, I kept encountering a recurring frustration in the air: the uncontrolled backswing of the pole.
I refused to accept that your rhythm should be dictated by an unpredictable pole tip. I wanted to make the swing phase as stable as the kick phase. After countless prototypes in our workshop in Horten, I created PoleControl — so you can focus on technique, not on the pole.
