Design matters and it helps tell our story

We believe design matters and roller skis should look cool. Because they can and beacause it matters, whether you are an Active- or a Pro skier.

The orange color has been preserved, as we have developed further.
We have a “look”, a signature, that shows speed, kick-off and freedom, which we can continue to work with through every news and every innovation that comes rolling out of FF Rollerskis. We are really proud of the whole team. 

In order to produce what we believe to be the market’s best roller skis, we have constantly developed the products together with cross-country skiers and other people who know what it takes to make the perfect roller ski!

Always a Team effort

One of those who has been involved from the very beginning is Jørn Ernst! He is the manager of one of our national treasures in cross-country skiing,Therese Johaug. And he is well adapted to the unique skiing worlds do’s-and-don’ts.

 Jørn has also played a part in the design of this year’s roller ski collection.
In addition, we have NTNU student Peter Engedal as the graphic designer. It was absolutely fantastic to follow the process and interaction that led us to our new FF roller ski!

Design has always been part of the message of FF Rollerskis AS as on our previous roller skis, where the combination of orange and black has made FF’s roller skis easy to recognize and cool to look at. Our new model is no exception!

Peter Engdahl studies architecture, art and design at NTNU. He is originally from Borlänge in Sweden , or Söta bror, a nickname we have in Norway, for the swedish.( Directly translated as sweet brother.) Peter is an active skier based in Trondheim. He is also one of Sweden’s best trail runners! Peter is FF ambassador at the same time as he has time for both studies and creative work for us. He is a positive and fresh breath of fresh air into FF and he is on entrepreneur time (i.e. 24/7)

The Design- team

Jørn Ernst

Jørn Ernst is an experienced adviser and manager. With most of his carriere within retail brand building and sponsorship marketing tools.. Jørn is best known for his role as manager of Therese Johaug.
Understanding the product’s role, brand awareness and defining the things that really matter, are just a few of the qualities Jørn brings to the table. He has a low-key approach that invites to boh trust and respect.  FF is grateful and very lucky to have him.
